If you’re interested in submitting art for a skin, there are some things you’ll need to know in order to get the best results.

First off - web images are about 1/4 the size of a printed image. To break it down, a web image that is 3” across is 216 pixels wide (web images are 72 PPI - pixels per inch). A printed image 3” is 900 pixels. Printed images are 300 PPI.

If your plan is to use an image you found online that is 1000 pixels wide, that image is only going to be roughly 3.325” wide - not nearly wide enough to cover a guitar body. In order for you to get a decent image printed for your skin, the image should be no less than 3,000 pixels wide.

The images we create for our INZANE SKINS are all high-quality images that are roughly 5,550 pixels across. This guarantees the image will be detailed and crisp. The image below shows a standard body shape roughly 18.5" wide by 13" tall. That comes out to roughly 5500 pixels across by 3900 pixels tall.
